ChaptersAI is a GPT client designed for people who need to manage long, complex conversations without losing structure. Instead of keeping everything in one endless chat thread, ChaptersAI lets you branch off from any paragraph into a new chat window while preserving the context that led to it. This makes it easy to take a big idea—like a product plan, research brief, story outline, or technical design—and split it into focused sub-conversations where you can drill into details, test assumptions, and iterate without cluttering the main thread.

The workflow is simple: click the arrow icon next to a paragraph to create a new branch. Each branch becomes its own workspace, and you can keep branching further as your project grows, then navigate back to the root conversation whenever you need the big picture again. When you want to explore alternative directions, you can create versions of a branched chat and compare approaches—useful for experimenting with different prompts, tones, specifications, or solution paths.

ChaptersAI also supports editing the System Message, giving you control over the assistant’s role and behavior across a project or within a specific branch.
